Twenty years of quantum contextuality at USTC

Quantum contextuality is one of the most perplexing and peculiar features quantum mechanics. Concisely, it refers to observation that result a single measurement in mechanics depends on set joint measurements actually performed. The study has long history at University Science Technology China (USTC). Here we review theoretical experimental advances this direction achieved USTC over last twenty years. We start by introducing renowned simplest proof state-independent contextuality. then present several tests versus noncontextual theories with photons. Finally, discuss investigation role general information science its application computation.
